FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian University men's basketball (0-7, 0-3 NACC) was defeated by No. 14 Benedictine University 95-66 at Sadoff in NACC action.
Hot shooting propelled the Eagles in the first half as they connected 17-27 (.630) from the field. The Sabres would keep the game close with sophomore Tyrese Pinson collecting the first seven points of the game for Marian. Throughout the first half, the Eagles would connect on eight baskets from beyond the three-point line leading to a 49-27 advantage heading into halftime. In the second half, The Eagles would continue their hot shooting finishing 32-58 (.552) from the field en route to a 95-66 win. Pinson led the way for Marian finishing the game with 16 points and four rebounds. Junior Alex Manhardt chipped in 14 points along with eight rebounds. Marian will be back in action Tuesday, December 6 as MU continues conference play against Aurora with tip set for 7 p.m. Comments are closed.
